We can’t fulfil our emotional needs in the ways we used to, and we are left, alone in midnight rooms, sleepless in awakened piercingly intense longing.

In creativity thinking, there’s this idea of creative limitation. That by creating constraints for ourselves to work within, more beautiful and interesting things may flourish. Whilst in times past, this would involve me trying to make a song with only one chord… What is happening now is a wonderful opportunity to innovate my life as art.
So I gaze, I gaze deep into the yearning song at the centre of my body, I witness it weep for what is gone. In my watchful cherishing eye, I notice what it cries for losing, which aspects of experiences it found particularly meaningful, and I take these elements, small fragments of heart energy, as seeds to sow - to create the next world.
Its over, my dears, shore up your fragments, pin shards of smashed visions to your coat as sentimental gems from an ancient past. We build the future now. We build the future by discovering our capacity to create our own bliss.
What are the fundamental essences of what you want? How can you translate them into other things?
How do you want to celebrate your aliveness?
For me, I made a place, a portal, a manifest location from the imagination, an emanation from two friends extremely centred in their self-expression. It was simple as fuck. To anyone else, it looked like some lights, a sign, a portable speaker and a picnic blanket. But to us, our hearts were singing. It was everything that we needed to create bliss, a sense of alignment, a state of self remembering that was a balance of the interplay between outer and inner.
This is empowerment. To know how to use whatever you’ve got, wherever you are, to nourish yourself, to create medicine. This is the potent self-sufficient alchemy that we need to learn right now. How to thrive, really thrive, within the peculiar context of a pandemic. The witchy weaving our every aspect into the tapestry of your strength, the throne of our joy. We must do it for our sake, and the sake of life itself. Our aliveness will create more aliveness, and it will either save the world, or be the greatest last hurrah for existence that all of our imaginations can muster - absolutely and exactly as it really is.
